Warriors Working their Way to Grand Championships
Two of the London Warriors took part in the Newport CIMAC super league on Sunday 21st March. Michael McGreig and Liz Ferioli both took the challenge of driving over 2 hours to get to the competition, and were determined to get a placing, as there was no way they would travel that far and come away empty handed.
Both students I’m pleased to say did what they set out to do, with Michael McGreig taking 3rd place in the males +74kg intermediate section and Liz Ferioli taking 1st place in the female -65kg advanced section.
Both students are focusing on becoming top of the CIMAC super league in their categories, making them Grand Champions for 2010. Liz Ferioli is the current woman -65kg advanced Grand Champion, and will stop at nothing to keep this title at the end of this year.
