Hi Fight Fans and welcome to London Warriors Sixth Open Tournament of the year.

Experienced combatant Liz Ferioli and novice team mate Michael McGreig were the academies representatives on this occasion.

Extremely focused, with her eye on the prestigious title of Grand Champion Liz’s first fight was a highly technical affair for both fighters as the two girls demonstrated superb hand and foot techniques. At the end of an entertaining and fine example of kickboxing Liz was adjudged to be runner up, which left her to contest a 3rd place fight off, which Liz comfortable went on to win.

Novice Mike McGreig has only been with London Warriors for a short time, though it was Mike’s first ever tournament he performed very well with good footwork coupled with bobbing and weaving. Although Mike did not win he thoroughly enjoyed the experience and I’m sure that we will have the pleasure of Mike gracing this sate in the not to distant future.
