CIMAC Windsor 05/04/2009
Hi and welcome to London Warriors third CIMAC super league tournament of the year, this was held at Windsor
Representing the Warriors at this even were ‘Lady’ Liz Ferioli, Dean ‘Deanomite’ Hanley and new comer Aliaksei Marynin.
It was only 17 year old Aliaksei’s second outing representing the Warriors, but he was not fazed by the occasion, or by having to enter the coloured belt category, even after only 2 months of training.
Aliaksei fought with professionalism and maturity and went to win the category. He is definitely one to watch, one for the future
‘Lady’ Liz Ferioli is no stranger to competing on such a major stage, having said that she will be the first to tell you that, each bout is both an education and a challenge which she relishes. Liz fought well in the ladies black belt -64kg. Liz went on to finish the section in a very hard fought 3rd place.
And last but not least, Dean ‘Deanomite’ Hanley graced the mats of area one with his presences. Dean is gathering experience and continues to improve with every fight. His enthusiasm and competiveness are addictive, a great team member. Deano eventually went on to claim 3rd place in what was a highly competitive category.
Well done all who continue to keep the warrior spirit and flag flying.
