Dean Hanley on the Podium, receiving his medal
Fight Report Irish Open International
Martial Arts Tournament
05/03/10 – 07/03/10
The Irish Open is Europe’s largest Martial Arts Extravaganza.
This salubrious event is held once a year and was held at Dublin’s City West Hotel
Hosted by Roy Baker, attended by 2,500 of the world’s top martial artists, and held over a whole weekend, this is the tournament to attend if you really want to put your fighting skills to the test.
As students form London Warriors always revel in a challenge as expected, they took the opportunity to participate in the weekend events.
Chief Instructor Tony Francis, Liz Ferioli Dean Hanley and Micheal McGreig represented the Warriors.
The Warriors enjoyed a great weekend and as usual never failed to gain a placing as they have demonstrated over the last 4 years, on this occasion, Dean Hanley walked away with Bronze medal position, after a hard and well-fought competition in the men’s black belt category. Well-done people and roll on Irish Open 2011.
Also a special thank you to all those who came to support the Warriors over the weekend.
